Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

So this has been a very busy week for me. First of all, let's get to the weight loss program. As of this morning, my new weight is 315. So, that is 4 pounds for the week. I am very please with my progress to date. I would have rather been at 310, but having a slip up a couple of weeks ago with a meeger 2 lb loss. But now I am consistently losing 4 lbs per week. So, if I can keep this up...I will be at my goal weight by the summer. And my current goal is 250. Which is perfect! I am expecting to go to Spain in May for a couple of weeks. Wheich means I will fit in the seats of the planes much better than I would now. And I will not be shy or embarassed to wear a bathing suit on the beach in Valencia.
As for this week...it has been a very busy week at work. Two days this week we were unloading over seas shipping containers filled with equipment. And I'll tell ya...that was extremely busy, and at times a little nerve wracking. And then, we kept busy by breaking down 8 foot tall wooden crates that someone decided to nail together rather than use wood screws, which would have made my life a whole lot easier this week. Instead, I was busy swinging a 10 lb sledge hammer and wrecking bars to take it all apart. But no that part is over. And we are at the installation process...which at this point doesen't look like it will be that difficult. At least it won't be as heavy as it has been this week.
And so my life continues with the excellent weight loss progress, and the new job. There are things that I wish I could change right now...but I can't. So hopefully my short term loss will work out to truely be a long term gain.
Until next time for those of you that are reading this...

The Good, The Bad, But No Ugly

Well, I haven't written anything on here for a couple of weeks. I had all the best intentions of trying to keep this up. But I guess you can say I was rather disappointed. Last week, when I did my weigh-in, I had only lost two pounds. Now I know that most people would be happy with this. But I had lost at total of 10 lbs in the two weeks prior to that on the 4 hour body(which BTW I'm still on). So when I took a good hard look at what could have been the major contributor to the lack luster weight loss progress. I discovered that the root cause was my lack of a schedule(that's the Bad).  Monday of last week I started my new job working for a company that is new to the area! My new position is actually a promotion over my last positions(the good now). But once I started my new job, I found that the schedule and the long hours had created a few challenges to my eating schedule. I wasn't eating my 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up. I was waiting too long to eat in between meals. And I just simply wasn't drinking enough water.

So, I continued on with he week, and had my binge day on Saturday like always. I know I ate a lot more this past binge day than I did the previous two. I gained 8 lbs in one day! That's right 8 lbs! Now Timothy Ferris says that this is normal and you will lose that weight. And you know what...I did! And then some.

This week I worked on getting back to my regular eating schedule. And I have to admit that I had to deviate at times. But I tried to stay true to it. I still need to work at drinking enough water, and getting my eating schedule down. But I'm satisfied with this weeks progress. My weigh in his morning was 319.2 lbs. I have lost a total of 16 lbs since I started the diet. Is 20 lbs doable in one month? Absolutely! I would say that I could have lost more than 20 had my eating and drinking schedule stayed true to form. But what makes me feel even better is the fact that this week I lost the 8 lbs that I put on from binging, plus I lost an additional 4 lbs from the week before.

And so, it has been a very busy two weeks at work getting things set-up with the contractors. Getting the lighting, wiring, plumbing, cement work, new compressor, new vendors, an just about anything else you can think of set-up. As a company in Windsor, we don't have anything! Well, we have a building, and we have equipment coming. But as far as suppliers for anything that would be used in the facility on a daily basis...there is very little that we have. And there lies one of my responsibilities. Getting multiple quotes from vendors and suppliers. I've been spending a lot of time with sales people. And just as much time with the skilled trades in the building. And to add to my excitement, the first phase of the equipment is showing up next week. And I will have a very limited time frame to get everything unloaded on time. But for me, my biggest challenge for those two to three days will be eating on time, as well as drinking enough water. So, wish me luck. I'm starting my third week of work, and the fifth week of my diet. Lets see if I can keep true to my eating schedule, and drinking enough water, to drop the 20 lbs that I had hoped for this past month.

As Tigger would say...TTFN!
